Excursions
On your days-off from diving, you can explore other parts of South Sinai or the rest of Egypt. There are many tour companies offering excursions by jeep into the remote parts of the South Sinai desert or trips to Mt Sinai and St. Catherine’s Monastery. Day trips by air are possible to Cairo and Luxor, too, where you can take in the ancient monuments.
In Sharm itself there are other activities which may be of interest such as go-karting, quad-biking and horse-riding. |

| Camel Rides |
Step back in time, with a 2 hour ride by camel ‘The Ship of the Desert’ into the Sinai mountains and marvel as the mountains gradually change colour with the setting sun. The Bedouin will lead you to their home in the desert where you can enjoy their sweet Bedouin tea and learn a little about their culture and their way of life. It is also possible to combine the camel ride with the Bedouin dinner. |
