There are many tour companies offering excursions by jeep into the remote parts of the South Sinai desert or trips to Mt Sinai and St. Catherine’s Monastery.
You can do the day trip to Cairo by air or by coach. By air, you fly up to Cairo in the early morning and return late evening; the cheaper option is to travel overnight by air-conditioned coach in both directions. Both methods of transport give you a full day in the city.
In Sharm itself there are other activities which may be of interest such as go-karting, quad-biking and horse-riding. |
